The Tragata, by studio Hiboux Architecture, draws inspiration from huts used by Greek farmers during harvesting. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for with charm.
The Tragata is raised on a timber frame and its walls are made from panels weaved together from reeds.
There’s no amenities inside and only just one room, but the wall panels are operable and can be opened for ventilation and the view. The roof can also be opened for star gazing.
A hatch provides access to a storage area for bedding and a hammock beneath lets visitors sleep suspended in the air.
Hiboux Architecture is planning on building more Tragata dwellings and turning them into a glamping community.
