This tiny house has enough luxury features to put your average brick-and-mortar home to shame. Designed by New Frontier Tiny Homes, the Alpha includes a jacuzzi tub, mini-dishwasher, high-end finish, plus an eight-person dining table for when guests come over.
The Alpha measures 24 ft (7.3 m)-long and has a total floorspace of 240 sq ft (22 sq m). It’s clad in western red cedar siding, with some Shou Sugi Ban-treated cedar (a Japanese technique for improving durability that involves charring the wood).
Those large glass doors open up the home to the outside, as does the glazed wall opposite, which lifts up like a garage door.
The home is centered around a relatively large living room/dining area, which includes a large eight-person folding dining table hidden beneath the kitchen steps.
The same storage section also hides a ladder up to the loft bedroom, which includes a kingsize bed.
The kitchen looks pretty luxurious for a tiny house and includes a reclaimed barn wood ceiling and wall, custom cabinetry, large steel farmhouse sink, stainless steel appliances and a mini-dishwasher.
The bathroom is particularly luxurious and boasts a jacuzzi tub, shower, washer/dryer, and a composting toilet.
The Alpha is still for sale and can also be outfitted to run off-the-grid. It’ll cost you around $100,000, depending on options. Head over to New Frontier Tiny Homes for more information.
