Danish firm Vipp decided to dip its toe into the small living movement with the industrial-looking Vipp Shelter. Described as a “battery charging station for humans,” the prefabricated cabin can be installed anywhere, to offer a luxury off-grid retreat away from it all.

Homegrown Trailers recently unveiled its latest model, which is specifically marketed to appeal to the small living community and can be used either as full-time dwelling or camping trailer. Named the Timberline, it can run on or off-the-grid and can sleep up to six people inside.
