You may have had your own treehouse as a kid, but we bet it didn’t come with its own full-size skatebowl and suspension bridge. Writer and photographer Foster Huntington (the guy behind the #vanlife movement) relied on a little help from his friends to build this charming one-of-a-kind treehouse.
The project actually comprises two treehouses, both attached to large Douglas Fir trees and connected with a suspension bridge.
The lower of the two treehouses is called the Studio, and serves as Huntington’s work space. It includes shelving, storage space, a computer, couch, sink, and wood burning stove.
The other treehouse is named the Octagon and is Huntington’s private sleeping quarters. Below the treehouses lie a wood-fired tub hot tub and the concrete skate bowl, which Huntington built with his friends.
