The Keret House is a home and art installation in Warsaw, Poland, designed by architect Jakub Szczęsny. Measuring just 92 cm (3 ft) at its thinnest point and 152 cm (5 ft) at its widest, it’s widely considered the world’s narrowest house.
The Keret House is located between 22 Chłodna Street and 74 Żelazna Street in Warsaw, which are a pre-war house and an apartment building.
Despite its diminutive size, the architect managed to shoehorn in a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and a living area into its two floors.
The home has two (non-operable) windows, though sunlight also enters through the translucent panels that it is clad in.
Entry is gained from street level by retractable stairs and honestly, it’s more livable than you might think, but not many people would want to live here full-time.
