A lot of modern tiny houses aren’t actually that tiny nowadays, and it’s common to see huge towable homes stretching close to 40 ft. Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses has gone in the opposite direction with its Boulder 2.5, which measures just 18 ft long.

The Boulder 2.5 is clad in reclaimed corrugated metal siding with wood accents, with a deliberately rusty and worn look. Its interior decor continues this aesthetic and is finished with shiplap walls, with a beetle kill pine ceiling and solid oak flooring.

Visitors enter into a combined kitchen and dining area (there’s no living room or sofa), which contains a dining table/office desk, as well as a kitchen counter with a two-burner propane-powered stove and sink, plus a fridge. A wood-burning stove heats the home alongside an electric wall heater. The bathroom is on the opposite side of the home to the kitchen, and contains a shower and a composting toilet.

The Boulder 2.5 has one bedroom, accessed by a storage-integrated alternating-tread staircase. Like most loft-style tiny house bedrooms, it has a low ceiling and just enough room for a double bed.

The Boulder 2.5 runs from a standard RV-style hookup, and is parked in a rural plot near the owner’s main house in Idaho. There’s no word on the price of this one.
