This remarkably compact tiny house could be a good fit for anyone looking to move around often or shop on a smaller budget. Measuring just 16 ft (4.9 m) in length, it starts at US$39,000.
The Genesis 16′ is designed by Dragon Tiny Homes and is based on a double-axle trailer, with engineered wood siding and a metal roof.

The interior looks open and light-filled thanks to lots of windows and a high ceiling, and is finished in shiplap with vinyl flooring. It measures 136 sq ft (12.6 sq m) on the ground floor, which includes a living room area with a sofa and a wall-mounted TV.
The adjacent kitchen, meanwhile, is simple but has all the basics, including an oven, a double induction cooktop, a sink, and a full-size fridge/freezer, plus a surprising amount of cabinetry for such a small home.

The bathroom is small but Dragon Tiny Homes has managed to squeeze in a walk-in shower, a vanity sink, and a flushing toilet.

The bedroom is upstairs in a loft-style mezzanine space with a low ceiling, so you’ll need to crawl into bed. It’s reached by a storage-integrated staircase and includes a double bed, plus a storage unit that adds a little privacy from downstairs.

The Genesis 16′ is available to purchase with delivery available across the United States.
