Craft House’s Lukas tiny house doesn’t have any wheels and needs to be transported by truck, so you’re not going to be moving it around very often. However, what it loses in ease of transport it makes up for with a spacious interior layout that’s suitable for a family.
The Lukas has a length of 10 m (33 ft) and a width of 3.5 m (11.6 ft), which is a few feet wider than the standard tiny house and allows it to offer a more roomy, apartment-like interior than you’d typically expect. Its exterior is finished in engineered wood and aluminum.

The interior is modern and filled with light thanks to lots of windows and glass doors, with the layout centered around an open living area. This includes a sofa, coffee table, entertainment center, and a wall-mounted TV. There’s also underfloor heating installed, which is a nice luxury touch for a tiny house.

The kitchen is nearby and comes with breakfast bar seating for two, a sink, an oven and induction cooktop, a fridge/freezer, and even a dishwasher – which is still fairly unusual in a tiny house. The bathroom, meanwhile, includes a toilet, shower, vanity sink, and a washer/dryer.

Elsewhere on the ground floor is the master bedroom. This features a large bed, some storage space, and glass doors that provide access to the outside. There’s also a second bedroom in the Lukas’ mezzanine, which is reached by a staircase. The ceiling is low in here, as you’d expect, but it otherwise looks reasonably spacious and includes another bed and additional storage.

The Lukas is up for sale now and is built to order from US$88,000, depending on the options chosen.
