This cute owl-inspired tiny house features a compact interior that uses clever space-saving design to fit sleeping space for up to six people.

Designed by Tiny Binocles, the Grand-Duc is modeled after a French owl of the same name and features porthole-style “eyes” on its exterior. It has a length of 6.6 m (21.7 ft), which is definitely on the smaller side, even for a tiny house, and a floorspace of just 22 sq m (236 sq ft).
The home’s interior is finished in poplar ply walls and a spruce floor, and is arranged around a central kitchen. This is small and basic, with an oven, an induction cooktop, a sink, and cabinetry, plus room for more appliances.

Nearby lies the living room/dining area, which includes a large booth-style seating area and a U-shaped sofa that seats six. It has integrated storage, plus a table, and the area can be converted into an extra guest room if required – complete with a curtain for privacy. Elsewhere on the ground floor lies a small bathroom with a shower, a sink, and a toilet.

There are two dedicated bedrooms in the Grand-Duc, both upstairs and each accessed by a ladder. They are typical loft rooms with low ceilings and each contains a double bed and some storage space. Each also has a door to offer some privacy.

Tiny Binocles offers the Grand-Duc for sale, but those interested need to get in touch with the firm directly for pricing.
