Though Modern Tiny Living’s Cercaux only has a length of 20 ft (6 m), the tiny house punches above its weight with a flexible “Swiss Army Knife” living room.
The Cerceaux is based on a double-axle trailer and finished in engineered wood, with a steel roof and an exterior storage box.

Its front door opens onto the living room, which is raised, with enough seating for up to six people. There are also lots of windows in here, helping fill the interior with light. The raised position creates the opportunity for lots of storage below, including drawers and bookshelves. The sofa can be transformed into a bed too.

Nearby is the kitchen. This includes a breakfast bar for up to two people, as well as quite a lot of cabinetry, including in-ceiling drop-down cabinets. The bathroom is positioned nearby and is accessed by a sliding barn-style door. It contains a composting toilet, sink, plus a shower.

There’s just one bedroom in the Cercaux, which is reached by a storage-integrated staircase and is a typical loft-style tiny house space with a low ceiling, as well as more storage and a double bed.

The Cercaux runs off-grid with a roof-based solar panel setup, allowing its owners to explore North America. Contact Modern Tiny Living for pricing details.
